- Tonto National Forest OHV Permits and Closure at River Island State Park (Near Parker)Tom Murphy represents the Club on the Off Highway Advisory Group (OHVHAG). He Passed on some information during our last General Meeting and asked if I would post the information on our website. Starting in 2025 the Tonto NF will require a permit for Bulldog Canyon, The Rolls, St. Clair, and Desert Vista OHV Areas (https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd1209317.pdf). I have one and it just makes sense that everyone should. As published by Rugged Radios this is how to get a license, https://www.ruggedradios.com/blogs/news/how-to-get-your-gmrs-license.
