I have been working with photos taken by my iphone when I make my videos. Iphone will automatically give you gps coordinates and this is extremely important when I am making a video and I need to know where the photo was taken in order to know what you are seeing. When you right click on a photo a panel comes up and if you click on “properties” and then click on “details” and scroll down you will find latitude and longitude in a “degrees, minutes, seconds” format (DMS). One of mine was 35° 0′ 55.20 N 111° 47′ 26.15W. Of course on your phone it is just 35; 0; 55.200000 111; 47; 26.15. It will not have the N or W or any of the symbols. In order to search for this location on GAIA you have to be able to type this into the search bar. How in the world do you type in the “degree” symbol when you don’t have it on your keyboard. That is what I want to share with you. After a lot of “googling” I found, for PCs, if you hold down the “alt” key and while you are holding it down you type in 0176 and then when you let up on the “alt” key the ° symbol will appear. To find the “N’ or “W” part of it you will need to go to GAIA in the vicinity of where you took your picture and check a waypoint address and just use whatever you find. I hope this helps.
