Hello everyone! Tomorrow (May 20) is the Club’s last meeting before we take a break for the summer heat. We are just coming back from our camp and ride last week at Payson. We had some good rides. Come join us for fellowship. A Tread Lightly representative came and talked to our Club during a General Meeting. The Board decided to join Tread Lightly, https://treadlightly.org/, as a Club Member. I encourage everyone to use GPS when they are riding. I use an Ipad but all you really need is your phone. I use my phone as a backup to my ipad. It helps to be able to mount your phone but, you don’t have to. I know of two kinds of GPS, GAIA gps, http://gaiagps.com and OnX Offroad ,https://www.onxmaps.com/offroad/app . When the Board discussed conflicts between members we wondered why there was not a Code of Conduct that every member would consent to when they joined the Club or when they renewed their membership. Bill Haney has not been able to go with us on rides because he is dealing with throat cancer and is currently going through radiation and chemotherapy. He is doing the best he can. He is looking forward to getting over this and getting back out on rides again.
