Tom Murphy represents the Club on the Off Highway Advisory Group (OHVHAG). He Passed on some information during our last General Meeting and asked if I would post the information on our website. Starting in 2025 the Tonto NF will require a permit for Bulldog Canyon, The Rolls, St. Clair, and Desert Vista OHV Areas (https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd1209317.pdf). Tom also wanted me to post information about an OHV trailhead near Parker that will be closed until renovations are complete (https://azstateparks.com/press/off-highway-vehicle-trailhead-construction-off-state-route-95-at-river-island-state-park). Tom thanks for volunteering to be on the OHVHAG group. Keith MenascoRead More →

Radios make all of our rides safer. A valid FCC license is necessary to legally operate a GMRS radio, which are the frequencies the Club uses on all of our rides. The cost has actually come down and now it is only $35 for 10 years. I have one and it just makes sense that everyone should. As published by Rugged Radios this is how to get a license, https://www.ruggedradios.com/blogs/news/how-to-get-your-gmrs-license. Keith MenascoRead More →

On our most recent ride we were discussing how to best attach a flag such as the Club’s Flag. Grant Steski shared with us what he had and we thought it would be good to let the Club know in case they wanted to purchase some. You can purchase them at: https://gorillawhips.com/products/rotating-flag-clamps-for-1-4-fiberglass-pole?variant=40012436570217. Keith MenascoRead More →
