The Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary puts on training to relocate rattlesnakes, which I recently attended. Check out my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tem0bWW7Hic&t=2s . I took the training so I can relocate snakes off the road so we would not run over them. Everyone needs to be aware of the seriusness of being bitten by a rattlesnake. Not many die from it but it is VERY serious. There is really nothing you can do out in the backcountry but race back to the staging area and get to the hospital ASAP. Another good reason for never going along. Keith MenascoRead More →

We just returned from a successful trip to Payson. I want to thank Chuck Peterson for being a ride leader and Glenda and John and LeRoy Smith for being tail gunners. I also want to thank everyone for the delicious food that was brought to our potlucks. I put together two videos of our rides. Check these out as well as all of my ride videos on, https://www.youtube.com/@arizona3060. Take care! Keith MenascoRead More →

We were not able to get the Rodeo Grounds but we have found something that will work better than the Houston Mesa Campground or the Rodeo Grounds. John found the site to be adequate for a group of RVs. This will be dry camping on Forest Service land. The FS 406 is mostly paved. There is one short flat stretch, just on the west end ofRead More →
