Due to construction on I-17 there is a problem with the Exit and entrance to Bumblebee. The ramp to reenter I-17 is closed so we cannot exit the are to return to the city with out going North to Sunset point. To avoid this we will NOW stage out of North Black Canyon City,  Heading North on I-17 exit on Coldwater Rd, Exit # 244. Turn left crossing under the freeway. Gary Hornsby has been a friend and member of the Arizona ATV Riders for many years. Along with his affiliation with our organization Gary has been the owner operator for his ATV/UTV business for many years. Gary provided professional repair services for quads and SxS for club members and others at a reasonable cost. As of the first of April, Gary has closed his repair services business and will no longer be working in that discipline. On December 26th our fellow Club member John Rybacki under went open heart surgery for blocked arteries. The operation went well, he is recovering in the hospital for now with hopes of going home soon. A reminder to our membership and Board of Director’s that we have a set of “Rules” or By- Laws that every one agreed to abide by when they signed up and joined the club. A long-time member of AAR, Larry Walker, passed away on October 11, 2023, after a long battle with strokes. He was 86 years old. Larry was not a founder of the Club however he was one of the early members of the organization. He loved to ride his quad. During his riding days he crossed the state riding. His favorite places to ride were in the Forest Lakes/Heber area where he would camp and ride. Those who knew him, will remember his great sense of humor.
