A reminder to our membership and Board of Director’s that we have a set of “Rules” or By- Laws that every one agreed to abide by when they signed up and joined the club. These By- Laws were approved by the Membership at a General Meeting in April 2010. The By-Laws should not be avoided or circumnavigated for convenience should one feel they wish NOT to abide by them.

For over 23 years the monthly General Meetings have been a place for sharing experiences, welcoming new members and general club fellowship. Consistency and dependability have been one of our characteristics. I adamantly feel this should not change!

  1. I agree. But what was the basis for your message?

    1. As President, I was unable to come up with new ideas on how to make the Club’s monthly meetings meaningful. Meetings at Brothers were nice but was attended by a small number (compared to the overall membership). We have tried to get presenters but rarely were able to find them. The actual meeting was nothing more than sharing what we had done since the last meeting and what we had planned in the future. I feel I can do a better job of informing our membership through our website. So based on not having anyone who volunteered to organize a meeting and based on the main basis for our Club being rides, I organized a ride to Cleator followed by a social at Rock Springs instead of our regular monthly meeting for March. I am not committing the Club to doing this every month but thought we would try it out.
