A reminder to our membership and Board of Director’s that we have a set of “Rules” or By- Laws that every one agreed to abide by when they signed up and joined the club. These By- Laws were approved by the Membership at a General Meeting in April 2010. The By-Laws should not be avoided or circumnavigated for convenience should one feel they wish NOT to abide by them. For over 23 years the monthly General Meetings have been a place for sharing experiences, welcoming new members and general club fellowship. Consistency and dependability have been one of our characteristics. I adamantly feel this shouldRead More →

I put this on our calendar so everyone could plan for it. I suggested Houston Mesa Campground which we can make work but I am also working on getting the Rodeo Grounds, south of town, across the highway from the Casino. So, hold off on making any reservations for the Houston Mesa Campground at this time. I went on a jamboree, which used the Rodeo Grounds, in November 2022. Here is part of one of our rides, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2C2fKlNs3q8. I have this track and this will probably be one of our rides. I look forward to going to Payson. The Club went to Marysvale, UT last year and the Jamboree has been scheduled again for this year, August 7-10. You will need a day on either end for travel. Last year Mike Hann led this trip and it was excellent with Mike leading the rides. Our time overlapped with the Jamboree and I attended a couple of days and found the Jamboree to be well planned and had a good number of excellent rides, led by local people. They also bring in a caterer with excellent meals. Therefore, I thought it best for our Club to arrive and be a part of the JamboreeRead More →

Nick Rosso, General Manager, Nash Powersports, https://www.nashpowersports.com/, did a great job explaning what they had as far as an impressive line of side x sides, but also what they can provide in way of service. They have 3 locations in the Valley. There is no wait for general service, like an oil change. They are also a certified dealer for Rugged Radios and can do just about any special job of wiring, creating a new part, etc. Afterwards we had a great time at Happy Hour at Walter Station Brewery with good beer and food. We are doing something different that I think all of you will enjoy. We will be meeting at Nash Powersports, https://www.nashpowersports.com/  at their Phoenix location, 1880 S 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85007, at 4:00 pm. This event will be followed by the Club gathering for Happy Hour (reduced prices) at Walter Station Brewery, https://www.walterstation.beer/ , at 4056 E Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85034, which is nearby. I paid Nash Powersports a visit and they even promised to let anyone, who wants to, test drive some of the new side x sides on a coarse they have around their building. This will also be a great time to ask questionsRead More →

I am thinking about an extended trip in April. My Guide to AZ Backroads …. Book has several trails in close proximity south of Oracle, on the Coronado National Forest. Has anyone ridden there? Looks to be a good winter place to camp and ride. Let me know if anyone knows this area and would like to see the Club do a campout here. Keith Menasco keithmenasco@cox.netRead More →
