On our most recent ride we were discussing how to best attach a flag such as the Club’s Flag. Grant Steski shared with us what he had and we thought it would be good to let the Club know in case they wanted to purchase some. You can purchase them at: https://gorillawhips.com/products/rotating-flag-clamps-for-1-4-fiberglass-pole?variant=40012436570217. Keith MenascoRead More →

We had a large group who went to Big Lake. Even with rain showers, the weather was cool and felt amazing! For those who could not make it you missed an amazing time. I put up two new videos, Black River Canyon, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9EiX8c-vvY&t=12s and our trip to Alpine, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXiX9oAPgQ8&t=1s. Our ride to Greer was terrific but very similar to last year so I did not create a new vido but check out the old ones, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmjJLefhaTU and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZHXN-6uUfk. Of course you can see all of my videos at: https://www.youtube.com/@arizona3060/videos. Keith MenascoRead More →

The Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary puts on training to relocate rattlesnakes, which I recently attended. Check out my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tem0bWW7Hic&t=2s . I took the training so I can relocate snakes off the road so we would not run over them. Everyone needs to be aware of the seriusness of being bitten by a rattlesnake. Not many die from it but it is VERY serious. There is really nothing you can do out in the backcountry but race back to the staging area and get to the hospital ASAP. Another good reason for never going along. Keith MenascoRead More →
