If you are out riding and come upon a locked gate that is blocking you from traveling on Public Land this is a resource you may be able to use to report it. The Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation in partnership with the Trust for Public Lands is requesting help identifying these areas, https://azsfwc.org/report-your-public-land-access-issue/. A good example I can think of is FS roads SW of Young, AZ which are gated where there is private land. I am sure you know of additional areas like this. Keith MenascoRead More →

Hello everyone! For those who don’t already know about these products, I will share what I know. Sidewall cuts or punctures are always a concern. Todd Bohlen shared this product with me, Gluetread, for fixing sidewalls, https://www.gluetread.com/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22904659852&gbraid=0AAAAAqWfHoLKQwUhbwouuDDh_goDlZij6&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3aLHBhDTARIsAIRij587Qk1HsJlIw410hbi9ZBH47DUOLAkb-rUvm7h7l69Z6hPV8QYCIp8aAqfNEALw_wcB. I understand it is not cheap but would be cheaper than buying a spare tire. Another new product for simple punctures which appears to be easier than plugs is Whimsyard Tire Repair Rubber Nail, https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Th–vdoMgbk. This item was shared by a friend I met out on the trails in Colorado. Keith MenascoRead More →

I have 3 new videos to share showing our camp and ride adventures, south of Mormon Lake. Take a look, https://www.youtube.com/@arizona3060. The community we all share never ceases to amaze me. I know I am glad to be a part of it. I hope my videos captures some of it. Thanks to Jeff and Teri Wood for putting this one on! Keith MenascoRead More →

We have had some great “Camp and Rides” this year. I am looking forward to going to Happy Jack soon. We usually go to the North Kaibab for Fall Colors in October but that is not happening this year with all of the wildfires. Unless someone wants to take the lead, I don’t see anymore “Camp and Rides” until January. I hope to have a lot more “Day Rides” now that the weather is cooling a little. Check out the one I posted for October 9. I need volunteers to lead rides. I will be happy to work with anyone who is interested. Also, ifRead More →

Silverton, CO is such a great place to ride. I cannot get enough of riding in the high mountains of Colorado. One place we visited was over 13,000 feet. You really feel like you are on the top of the world. From my 4 days of riding I came up with 6 new videos. Check out to see where we rode at: https://www.youtube.com/@arizona3060/videos. Enjoy! Hello everyone!  Gary Hornsby used to be the “go to” mechanic for the Club.  Unfortunately, he is no longer in business. That is why I had the idea of asking members who they like, thinking that I could put together a list for members to use when they were shopping around for a good mechanic.  I commend those who do their own maintenance and repairs. That is the best way unfortunately, for those like me, who always manages to screw things up, that is not an option. Now I am getting too old to get on the floor. I got a few responses from whenRead More →

The Club had a great time, in June, camping out along the Woody Mountain Road, south of Flagstaff. I created 4 new videos which you can check out at, https://www.youtube.com/@arizona3060/videos. Our next adventure will be Silverton, CO. It is not too late to sign up. Take care! Keith MenascoRead More →

I have been working with photos taken by my iphone when I make my videos. Iphone will automatically give you gps coordinates and this is extremely important when I am making a video and I need to know where the photo was taken in order to know what you are seeing. When you right click on a photo a panel comes up and if you click on “properties” and then click on “details” and scroll down you will find latitude and longitude in a “degrees, minutes, seconds” format (DMS). One of mine was 35° 0′ 55.20 N 111° 47′ 26.15W. Of course on your phoneRead More →
