For Premium Users, GAIA has several map layers. What I discovered for Forest Service Lands there is a map layer called “USFS Roads and Trails” which has the trails in white. If you overlay this with one of the Satellite layers (I use “Satellite with Lables”) which is green, all of the trails show up in stark contrast. If you zoom in and out you can even see road numbers. This is supposed to be the roads on the Forest’s Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM). When you have the layer selected you can click on it to see the map legend. Hope this helps. KeithRead More →
